IABC is a big time IYKYK situation. We're crazy proud to be their design team, and even though it's been years, we still think of them as the coolest kids in town. And by kids we mean beers. And by town we mean the entire Northeast craft beer scene.
WORKING WITH A LEGENDARY CORE SERIES
Anyone who DOES know Industrial Arts... knows Wrench. And if you don’t - no judgement. But now you do! Wrench and 5 other superstar brews make up Industrial’s core series, and we started with IA when they brought them to us for a little facelift. So we happily cracked a few, cleaned up type, streamlined color and worked with the original design concpets to keep it current, clean and just as delicious as what's inside.
NEW CORE COLORS
Using color consistently in all communications strengthens brand recognition, creates impact and helps differentiate information. IA's core line had distinctive colors in place already, but they'd never really been evaluated as a group for cohesive hues and tones. We conducted a thorough color study with the IA team and arrived at a fresh and vibrant line-up for their main tool chest.

As we mentioned above, if you're in this neck of the woods, you don't get very far without drinking a Wrench. But beyond the core line at Industrial is a LOT of fun stuff. And wow, do we love when we get the call to help them bring a new idea to life! Below are just some of our favorites.
SPECIAL RELEASE BRANDS &
COLLABORATIONS
Outside of the IABC Core line of beers, Rabe has been tasked with creating work for a variety of other beer labels and packaging. This includes special commemorative releases, rotationals, and collaborations with brands like Wegmans, Decicco's and Trax Coffee.
50W IMPERIAL STOUT
Celebrating a long-time relationship with friend Bob at 2SP Brewing in PA, IABC brewed this big ol' stout! 50W (Fifty Weight) hits all those high-gravity notes, with aromas of dried figs, dark chocolate, and toffee.

LOTUS SERVE YOU :: IABC x WEGMAN'S
We were excited to work on a beer for IABC that was brewed and sold exclusively at Wegman's. This release was to celebrate the grand opening of the Harrison, NY location. This was the chosen concept for the launch, although aspects of this design had to be altered for the final release that hit the shelves.
SEASONAL & ANNUAL RELEASES
Besides the types of releases mentioned above, we've also been tasked over the years to create seasonal and annual beer releases, including a once-a-year NY State specific release, annual anniversary beers, and season Landscape Series beers released once per season.
YES FARMS YES BEER
"Yes Farms, Yes Beer" is released once a year by IABC, and for years had a certain look to it. In 2022, we were brought in to refresh the design with a new look, while retaining the color scheme and overall feel of the original. The exploration for this project was alot of fun, and these were some of our favorite can designs.
HAPPY ANNIVERSAR(IES)
Every year since working with IABC, we have had the opportunity to design their annual anniversary beers. Named after the number of weeks IABC has been in business, we kicked off the collection with Week 208 at the start of our work relationship, and have been designing them ever since.
